for teenagers, adults and groups

About Us

Home »  About Us

The roots of The Dublin School go back to 1968 and the foundation of the Dublin School of English, the first recognised English Language School in Ireland.

We have been organising summer programmes for children, teenagers and adults since then.

The key to language learning is practise in real life situations. Every year students from all over the world come to our centre in St Andrews College to take part in English language classes, where they also mix with Irish students who are taking classes in French, German, Italian & Spanish.

All students socialise together after class in organised activities – this ‘melting pot’ gives students the opportunity to meet and make friends with people from other countries and cultures and to practise whichever language they are studying not only with native speakers, but with native speakers from their own peer group!

We have a great combination of experienced & qualified teachers, enthusiastic social programme staff and a management team with years of experience arranging language camps. Students need just enjoy their time at the School, improve their language fluency and make new friends from all over the world.

At The Dublin School we arrange everything you need:

  • Educational and fun language classes
  • Accommodation both in Residence and Irish host families
  • After class social programmes so you can meet and make friends with other students
  • Full day excursions so you can see other parts of Ireland
  • Optional extra items like professional sports or music tuition of you are looking for something more.

The Dublin School is a family run school, the Crossen family arrange all the programmes and are in St Andrews all summer to make sure that your visit goes just as you planned it!
